That movie was absolutely bonkers! I came into this one expecting a Ready or Not knockoff, and boy was I wrong.
This movie was like watching Kill Bill on acid.
Ritualistic kills. Gore upon gore. A satanic cult led by the always awesome Patricia Arquette that worships a pig. All of this is what Zazie Beetz's character Asia Reaves goes through after taking the job from Hell (literally) as a live-in housekeeper at a NYC high rise.
"There are some absolutely insane scenes in this movie and I'm so glad I went in blind."I will say I did expect it to lean more towards horror than it did instead of more dark comedy/bloody action scenes.
Overall I give this a 7 out of 10 and recommend it to fans of brutal fights and pure chaos from the opening credits. It's obvious director Kirill Sokolov is a huge Tarantino fan after 5 minutes of watching this. Check it out on HBO Max now!
